I found that I really enjoyed the type of challenge these types of games present, so I thank Cake Mania for that. At the time I played it I really liked it, but there are a lot of other games of this type out there that are better, including Cake Mania II and III. Once you play II and III, there is no going back to this one. I tried to play the original Cake Mania again recently and it and it is so simplistic by comaparison both in presentation and game flow that I was a bit bored by it. So all in all, if you have never played this type of game before this is a good place to start. If you have, skip directly to Cake Mania III. The game is cute and has nice graphics. Maybe it's just not intersting to my child. I hope yours enjoys it more.
